I’ve been a professional photographer for over two decades, and this journey has grown right alongside my life.
What started as Rachel Lomeli Photography—capturing weddings, newborns, and love stories—has evolved into something so much deeper.
Because I have evolved.
Life has shaped me through motherhood, heartbreak, healing, and rebuilding. Somewhere along the way, photography stopped being just what I did…
It became part of who I am.
In 2020, Sage River Photography was born—a name that reflects the woman I’ve become: grounded, intuitive, a little wild, and deeply connected to the stories I tell.

I’m a mom of six, and that part of my life has shaped me in ways I can’t fully put into words.
Life doesn’t always look the way we once imagined, but every chapter has made me more present, more understanding, and more connected to what truly matters.
Motherhood has shaped the way I see people, relationships, and the small moments that become our biggest memories. It has taught me how quickly time passes—and how important it is to preserve each season while we can.
That understanding is woven into every session I photograph. Whether I’m documenting a brand-new baby, a graduating senior, a growing family, or a woman rediscovering herself, I know these images will mean even more as the years pass.

I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout the entire process. You don’t need to know how to pose, arrive feeling completely confident, or have every detail figured out.
That’s my job.

🏡 My Studio—Your Safe Space
My studio is located in downtown Gardnerville, Nevada, inside the historic Adaven Hotel.
It’s a private, welcoming space with seven thoughtfully designed rooms, a boho-chic atmosphere, and a full client closet with sizes ranging from S–4X.
This isn’t just a place to take photographs.
It’s where confidence is rebuilt.

Where you get to show up exactly as you are.
